Adam Brown is currently senior lecturer in photography at London South Bank University. Formerly course leader for Photography and Media Arts at UCA Maidstone, he spent 3 years lecturing at James Cook University, Queensland, Australia on the Bachelor of New Media Arts. A practicing artist, he runs the imaginary record label Buncefield Records and Tapes, which revives pre-digital modes of data storage to store photographic images, and DJs with photography at noisy events at the Photographers’ Gallery, Bristol Festival of Photography, Paris Photo and in Townsville, Australia.

Interests: Critical and experimental pedagogy, photography, new media and architectural imaging, actor network theory, critical spatial practice.
